Terms & Conditions
1. Order Acceptance
- Your order is a request to purchase—we only form a binding contract when we send a confirmation email (with your order number, product details, and total cost).
- We may reject orders for:
- Stock Shortages: If a product (e.g., a specific bed color) is out of stock. We’ll notify you within 2 business days and issue a full refund.
- Incorrect Information: If you provide wrong details (e.g., a delivery address with no access for furniture couriers, incorrect child age for bed size). We’ll ask for corrections—if none are received within 3 days, we may cancel the order.
- Fraud Suspicions: If we suspect fraudulent activity (e.g., multiple high-value bed orders to an unconfirmed address), we may cancel and report the issue to authorities.

2. Product Safety & Compliance
- All furniture meets UK child safety standards:
- Children's Beds: Comply with BS EN 747:2012 (structural safety) and BS 7177:2011 (fire resistance).
- Children's Desks: Comply with BS EN 1729-1:2015 (ergonomic requirements for school furniture).
- Toy Cabinets: Comply with BS EN 12227:2010 (safety for children’s storage units) and BS EN 71-3:2019 (limits on toxic substances).

- We do not guarantee compatibility with non-standard products (e.g., custom mattresses, third-party bed rails)—always use products recommended on our website or via email.
3. Payment Terms
- Accepted Methods: Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and Klarna (interest-free installments for orders over £100—subject to Klarna’s approval).
- Payment Security: All payments are PCI DSS-compliant—we never store full card details. Klarna payments are governed by Klarna’s terms (late fees may apply for missed installments).
- Deposits for Custom Items: Custom furniture (e.g., engraved desks) requires a 30% non-refundable deposit at order placement. The remaining 70% is due before shipping. If you cancel after production starts, the deposit is forfeited.
4. Delivery & Risk
- Risk Transfer: Risk of damage to furniture passes to you once delivered (confirmed by your signature or courier tracking). We are not liable for damage after delivery (e.g., a bed scratched during home assembly).
- Failed Deliveries: If the courier cannot deliver (e.g., no one is home), they will leave a card to reschedule. After 3 failed attempts, the order is returned to us—you’ll pay re-shipping fees (£24.99 for beds) to redeliver.
- Delivery Delays: We are not liable for delays from events beyond our control (e.g., courier strikes, severe weather). We’ll update you via email and offer a 10% discount on your next order if delays exceed 7 days.
5. Liability
-
Our Liability: We are liable for:
- Death or injury caused by our negligence (e.g., a faulty bed guardrail leading to a fall).
- Fraud or misrepresentation (e.g., lying about a desk’s weight capacity).
- Breach of UK consumer law (e.g., supplying a bed that fails safety standards).

- Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., a missed bedtime routine due to delayed bed delivery, costs to replace a mattress damaged by a faulty bed). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the product.
- Your Liability: You are liable for damage to furniture from improper use (e.g., overloading a toy cabinet, using a bed for jumping) or incorrect assembly. You must also pay for costs from wrong delivery details (e.g., re-shipping a desk to a corrected address).
6. Intellectual Property
- All website content (product photos, descriptions, safety guides) and brand logos are our intellectual property. You may not copy, share, or modify this content without our written permission.
- Product names (e.g., “Toddler Guardrail Bed”) are descriptive—we are not affiliated with third-party brands (e.g., mattress companies) unless stated.
7. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms (e.g., to reflect new safety regulations) and post changes on our website with a “Last Revised” date. By placing orders after changes, you accept the updated terms.
- For major changes (e.g., warranty reductions), we’ll email you at least 7 days before they take effect.
8. Governing Law & Disputes
- These terms are governed by English and Welsh law. Disputes (e.g., warranty claims, delivery issues) are subject to the jurisdiction of English/Welsh courts.
- Before legal action, contact us at sass_wholes_3l@icloud.com to resolve issues amicably—we aim to respond within 3 business days. UK consumers may also use the Citizens Advice Bureau for dispute support.
